Full Brow Technique

For the most intense look, go with this technique. This classic application method ensures an even, full-surface colour that perfectly tints the hair and skin. Ideal for clients who want super intense results, or those with sparse hairs or brows that require remodelling.

Step 1: Clean the brows using the RefectoCil Brow & Lash Foam to remove traces of makeup and oils.

Step 2: Map your client’s new brow shape using the RefectoCil Brow Mapper pencil.

Step 3: Apply a small amount of Intensifying Primer to the brow area for an even, intense result. Leave for 4 minutes and then remove with a dry cotton swab. Leave to dry for 4 minutes.

Step 4: Dispense a pea-sized amount of your chosen Intense Brow[n]s Base Gel into a dish and apply evenly to brows and skin, keeping within your mapped area. Leave for 2 minutes before removing with a dry cotton swab and leave to fully dry for a further 4 minutes.

Step 5: Squeeze out the same amount of Activator Gel as the Base Gel and apply with a fresh brush. Leave for 1 minute before removing with a wet cotton pad followed by a dry cotton swab.

Top Tip: Dab the Base Gel and Activator Gel in small sections rather than dragging. This will prevent patchiness.

Ombré Shading Technique

The perfect technique for a natural, feathery look, this shading technique emphasises the middle and tail of the brow while keeping a soft look at the front. A great option for clients seeking a natural look who don’t need remodelling.

Step 1: Clean the brows using the RefectoCil Brow and Lash Foam to remove traces of makeup and oils.

Step 2: Map your client’s new brow shape using the RefectoCil Brow Mapper pencil.

Step 3: Apply a small amount of Intensifying Primer to the brow area for an even, intense result. Leave for 4 minutes and then remove with a dry cotton swab. Leave to dry for 4 minutes.

Step 4: Dispense a pea-sized amount of your chosen Intense Brow[n]s Base Gel into a dish and evenly apply tint on eyebrows and skin, keeping within your mapped area. Leave for 2 minutes before removing with a dry cotton swab. Leave to fully dry for a further 4 minutes.

Step 5: Squeeze out the same amount of Activator Gel as the Base Gel and apply with a fresh brush. Leave for 1 minute before removing with a wet cotton pad followed by a dry cotton swab.

Step 6: Moisten a cotton swab with the RefectoCil Intense Browns Tint Remover and stroke through the front section of the brows to lighten the colour and create an ombré effect.

Brow Filling Technique

Great for clients with dense, dark brows seeking more definition, this creative technique leaves the front area untinted and gradually blends tint outwards with a rubber spoolie.

Step 1: Clean the brows using the RefectoCil Brow and Lash Foam to remove traces of makeup and oils.

Step 2: Map your client’s new brow shape using the RefectoCil Brow Mapper pencil, making sure to leave out the front area and set a boundary line.

Step 3: Apply a small amount of Intensifying Primer to brows beneath the boundary line. Leave for 4 minutes and then remove with a dry cotton swab. Leave to dry for 4 minutes.

Step 4: Apply Intense Brow[n]s Base Gel evenly to the same area as the primer was applied. Leave for 2 minutes before removing with a dry cotton swab. Leave to fully dry for a further 4 minutes.

Step 5: Using a fresh brush, apply the Activator Gel to the same area, blending with a spoolie. Leave for 1 minute before removing with a wet cotton pad followed by a dry cotton swab.
