At Adel Academy, we’re proud of our talented team of in-house hair and beauty educators. Across our 11 training academies, they bring a wealth of industry experience and a genuine passion for teaching, creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment for every student.
Wherever you are on your journey, our educators are here to guide you every step of the way—helping you build confidence as well as practical skills. With their expert support, you’ll develop your knowledge of professional products, techniques, and applications, from nail care, beauty treatments, hair extensions and hair colouring.

Sophie
Education Manager - Leeds, Sheffield, Derby and Huddersfield
Key Qualifications: Level 2 & 3 Beauty Therapy, Level 3 Teaching and Education, Level 3 Nail Technician, Complementary Therapies VTCT, Mental Health First Aid
Sophie has worked in the beauty industry for 14 years and enjoys delivering the best treatments for her clients. She studied NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Beauty Therapy at York College and furthered her studies in Complementary Therapies. Over the years, Sophie has worked in salons, spas, and as a self-employed therapist offering treatments and workshops for big skincare brands. Throughout her career as a beauty professional, Sophie has gained lots of knowledge by attending courses which is where her passion for beauty education grew. Since joining the Adel team in 2021, Sophie has developed her training even further and is committed to making each and every student’s journey as enjoyable as possible.

Lauren
Hair Educator - All Stores
Key Qualifications: Level 2 & 3 Hairdressing, Level 3 Teaching and Education, Mental Health First Aid
Lauren is a qualified Hairdresser and stylist with over 11 years’ experience in the hair industry. Lauren has developed a strong passion for creative colouring, particularly enhancing looks through the use of extensions. Lauren joined the Adel team in 2021 with a clear focus on advancing her skills and expertise.
Since then, Lauren has gained specialist qualifications in hair extensions and in 2023 achieved her teaching certification. She now plays a key role within the academy as both a Hair Extensions Educator and sharing her knowledge and inspiring the next generation of stylists.

Chloe
Beauty Educator - Barnsley and Sheffield
Key Qualifications: Level 2 & 3 Beauty Therapy, Level 3 Teaching and Education, Mental Health First Aid
After 2 years of working in the Adel Barnsley branch, Chloe has begun to put her 7 years of beauty therapy expertise into practise! Chloe has recently completed her training qualification and is now a key beauty expert in the Adel Academy education team. She can’t wait to share her passion for beauty and education with all of our prospective students and fundamentally believes a career in beauty therapy is as fulfilling for the therapist as it is for the client.

Simone
Beauty Educator - Halifax and Leeds
Key Qualifications: Level 2 & 3 Beauty Therapy, Level 3 Teaching and Education, Mental Health First Aid
Simone is a qualified beauty therapist with over 20 years’ experience in the beauty industry. After 9 years of working for a leading makeup brand, Simone became a freelance makeup artist before embarking on her Adel journey in 2020. Excited to join our growing Adel Academy team of beauty experts, Simone now divides her time between teaching beauty training courses and managing the Adel Halifax store. She has a strong passion for teaching and is dedicated to helping people learn new skills in all aspects of beauty, makeup, and nails.

Charntelle
Education Manager - Derby

Charntelle qualified in NVQ Level 2 & 3 in beauty therapy 18 years ago and has been a practicing beauty specialist ever since. She joined the Adel Professional family over 8 years ago and became a key part of the education team a year later, joining us as a beauty trainer. Charntelle loves everything about educating and gets great pleasure from helping others to achieve their personal goals and progress throughout their beauty therapy journeys. She has a keen passion for facial therapy and loves teaching our varied nail courses!
Alongside teaching at the Adel Academy, Charntelle runs a beauty therapy column which helps her keep her skills fresh and up to date. She enjoys regularly attending further education courses and is committed to keeping on top of current trends to ensure she is delivering the best beauty education for her students.
