The perfect add-on for any gents’ haircut or wet shave, this barbering course guides you through fast and effective treatments to give your male clients the ultimate finish.

Working in partnership with Salon System and RefectoCil to deliver the latest products and techniques, you'll learn everything you need to know to expand your client base and boost earnings.

Course Criteria:

Pre-course online learning - approximately 90 minutes depending on individual learning pace
- Health & Safety.
- Client consultation and contraindications.
- Hints and tips on how to add additional services to your work.
- Overview of barbering treatment options.

In-store practical
- Beard shaping.
- Beard colouring using RefectoCil.
- Facial hair waxing (brows, temples, upper cheeks, nostrils and ears).
- Facial threading (upper cheek).

Entry/Course Requirements:

- Students must be 18 years of age or over.
- Open to those qualified to NVQ/VRQ Level 2 or equivalent in hairdressing, barbering or beauty therapy or those with a minimum of 2 years' experience in at least one of these areas.
- You will receive a Welcome Email from Training Solutions with your login details explaining your training journey 7 days prior to your course. All online theory must be completed before attending your course. You will have access to the online learning portal for 1 year.
- Students are required to work on each other to practice the skills of threading and waxing on the arms, legs, nostrils and ears - hair must be grown on all these areas prior to the course.
- You are required to provide 1 live model at 1pm (models must be 18+ with facial hair, have been skin tested for beard/brow tinting, and be able to have hair removal performed on nostrils, brows, temples, upper cheek and ears using a combination of techniques).
- Please bring your own scissors, combs, hairdryer and basic styling kit.
- Please bring an electronic device (laptop/tablet/smartphone) fully charged and with data in order to access your online portal to retrieve your E-Certificate.

The in-store session of this course runs from 10am - 3pm.

If after booking a place you can no longer attend your practical session you are required to give a minimum of 2 weeks' notice so that we can re-book your place.

We aim to dispatch orders within 24 hours with a working day Next Day Delivery courier service for orders placed and processed before 4pm, Monday - Friday. The dispatch and delivery times may change depending on destination, stock availability and product type.

Adel offers a free delivery service for orders totalling £60 ex. VAT and over, though this may exclude specific special order items and large items.

Online Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised access to your account.

• You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

• If you believe that your password has become known to anyone else, you must inform us immediately and change your password at the first opportunity.

• Your password should be at least six characters comprising both numbers and letters in both upper and lower case.

• If you see an email associated with ‘Adel Professional’ that looks suspicious please report this to us immediately.

• It is advised for security purposes that you logout of your Adel Professional account after finishing your purchase.

Returns must be made within 14 working days of receiving an order, unused and in their original packaging with a copy of your invoice/receipt, for a full item refund. Please inform us of your intention to return goods via email or phone.

We strongly recommend you use recorded delivery as we cannot accept responsibility for any lost goods. Refunds do not include the original carriage charge.

Some items cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons, and some items may be subject to additional conditions.
