How to use Halo Gel Polish

We know your clients want the euphoria of a perfect manicure to last! Follow these steps for the perfect gel nails.

1. Prepare the nails by shaping, pushing back the cuticles, and removing any excess.
2. Buff with a white buffing block to remove the shine from the natural nail.
3. Spray a lint-free nail wipe with Halo Prep & Scrub nail cleanser to remove dust and oils from the nail plate.
4. Apply a thin layer of Halo Base Coat, remembering to cap the free edge. For nails that are prone to breakage, we recommend the Halo Rubber Base Coat.
5. Cure under your gel nail lamp for 30 seconds (we love the Halo Smart LED Nail Lamp)
6. Choose your favourite nail gel colour from the amazing Halo range and apply a thin layer, capping the free edge.
7. Cure for 30 seconds in your Halo Lamp.
8. Brush on a second layer of Halo gel nail polish. Don’t forget that free edge!
9. Cure for another 30 seconds.
10. Seal in your colour with your chosen Halo Top Coat.
11. Cure for a final 30 seconds.
12. Gently remove the tacky layer with the Pure Nails Gel Wipe and a lint-free nail wipe, or leave as they are if you’ve gone with a no-wipe top coat.
13. Apply a drop of cuticle oil after 60 seconds for perfect results with maximum shine
