If there’s one thing you can count on Pure Nails for, it’s giving nail techs the reliable, hard-working nail products they crave! Enter the latest addition to the Pure Nails Halo collection: Jellie Tips. Available in a huge array of shapes and sizes, these false nail tips offer a lightweight, flexible feel to nail enhancements without compromising on durability. Although not as strong as traditional acrylic and hard gel enhancements, Halo Jellie Nail Tips combine the strength of classic nail tips with the flexibility of gel for nails your clients will love.

Pre-shaped and pre-etched, Halo’s soft gel nail tips take the hard work out of nail tip application. Each curved nail tip has been carefully crafted to perfectly fit the contours of the natural nail for a seamless, snag-free finish. There’s also no need to score the inside of the tips – simply apply your nail adhesive, press into place, and cure. Jellie Nail Tips also benefit from a fully soak-off removal that will save you tonnes of time and effort in salon.

Described as ‘express tips’, Halo’s Jellie tips are the best professional nail tips for speedy nail services. Including two unique nail glue products, these soft gel tips have been designed to be pressed onto the natural nail before flash curing for a quick and effective nail service. Choose from the handy brush-on glue or the revolutionary UV/LED nail glue pot; the super-thick texture allows you to mould the glue in your fingers before pressing into the nail tip. There really is nothing else like this on the UK market!

Jellie Tips offer a whole host of benefits that both you and your clients will love:

How to apply Halo Jellie Nail Tips

Step 1: Complete your prep and cuticle work as normal on natural nails, taking extra care to remove the shine from the side wall and around the cuticle. Remove any debris from the nails using Halo Prep & Scrub.

Step 2: Size the Halo Jellie Tips to your client’s nail beds, ensuring they fit perfectly from side wall to side wall without need to push the tip flat to the nail bed.

Step 3: Apply Halo Flexi-Bond Nail Primer or Halo Gel Polish Rubber Base Coat to the natural nail and cure for 30 seconds.

Step 4: Scoop a small amount of the Jellie Nail Glue onto the contact area of the nail tip. Alternatively, paint the Jellie Brush-On Nail Glue directly onto the tip’s contact area.

Step 5: Place the Jellie Tip on the nail plate by tilting the tip at a 90° angle, starting at the cuticle area. Slowly press the rest of the tip down so that it fits perfectly with no air bubbles. Remove any nail glue that may have escaped from under the tip.

Step 6: Flash cure the tips using the Halo Flash Cure LED Nail Lamp, being sure to the hold the tip in place if applying with the brush-on glue (the mouldable glue is strong enough that you don’t need to hold in place during flash curing). Once all tips have been applied, cure the whole hand for 30 seconds under the Halo Smart LED Nail Lamp.

Step 7: Cut the Jellie Nail Tip down to size and shape if required. Buff over the tip to remove the shine, and buff carefully around the cuticle area to ensure the tip sits flush.

Step 8: Remove dust and debris using Halo Prep & Scrub. Apply Halo Base Coat and follow with your chosen nail gel colour and Halo Non-Wipe Top Coat, curing each layer for 30 seconds.

Step 9: Allow the nails to cool down for two minutes before applying Halo Cuticle Feed.

How to remove Halo Jellie Nail Tips

Step 1: Break the Jellie Tip seal using a buffing file.

Step 2: Cut away any additional length of the tip.

Step 3: Using your preferred method of removal, soak off the Jellie Tips as you would a Halo gel polish. Pure Nails recommend using a heated soak off bowl and acetone.

Hallo Jellie Tips Maintenance

Step 1: Clients with Halo Jellie Tips should come back for a maintenance appointment every 2-3 weeks.

Step 2: Jellie Tips can be infilled using Halo PoliBuild, Halo Elite Hard Gel or Halo EasiBuild. Pure Nails recommend infilling no more than once and suggest removing and reapplying during follow-up appointments.
