How-To

Check out some of our favourite techniques used to create beautiful, insta-colour results.

 

 

Bleach & Tone – lightening using freehand colour techniques

 

Benefit: perfect minimal commitment colour with natural roots and no visible re-growth. Great for clients after low-commitment/grown-out colour.

 

Method:

  • Pre-lighten the mid-lengths and ends with Kadus True Blondes or Blondes Unlimited powder using a balayage or strobing technique.
  • Rinse off and follow usage instructions.
  • Apply your chosen Color Switch pure shade, colour mix, or shades diluted with Cheers! Clear to dry hair.
  • Develop for up to 20 minutes without heat.
  • Rinse off.

 

 

 

 

 

Bleach & Tone – full head lightening

 

Benefit: the most visible colour results. Ideal for fashion-orientated clients who want to make a statement or frequently change their look.

 

Method:

  • Pre-lighten all of the hair with True Blondes Lightening Powder.
  • Rinse off and follow usage instructions.
  • Apply your chosen Color Switch pure shade, colour mix, or shades diluted with Cheers! Clear to dry hair.
  • Develop for up to 20 minutes without heat.
  • Rinse off.

 

 

 

 

 

Natural Switch – natural hair colour of level 6/0 and 7/0

 

Benefit: a gentle colour experience with no commitment. Perfect for clients wanting to change their tonality or for colour correction against unwanted shading, with soft, subtle results.

 

Method:

  • On dry hair, apply your chosen Color Switch pure shade, colour mix, or shades diluted with Cheers! Clear, depending on the client’s wishes.
  • Develop for up to 20 minutes without heat.
  • Rinse off.

 

 

 

 

 

Natural Switch – natural hair colour of level 8/0 and 9/0

 

Benefit: a gentle colour experience for clients who want vibrant or pastel colour results for a short time.

 

Method:

  • On dry hair, apply your chosen Color Switch pure shade, colour mix, or shades diluted with Cheers! Clear, depending on the client’s wishes.
  • Develop for up to 20 minutes without heat.
